The CRKT Avant by Eric Ochs from Oregon is once again a prime example of how well a minimalist design works without frills and bells and whistles. The gently rounded handle of the pocket knife lies perfectly in the hand, and the opening of the ball-bearing blade by flipper or thumb stud is just as practical as the convertible clip. The clip, the blade bearing and the thumb stud set bronze-coloured accents and, together with the carbon fibre scales, create a noble appearance that is nevertheless rather understated. The blade is secured by a linerlock. With convertible clip (tip-up/l-r).
